Annual Operational Deadlines

Recruitment:
October 10:  U.S. universities submit information to CCIEE regarding students for the next year
November 15: CCIEE finishes the Sino-American CHEPD Undergraduate/Graduate Transfer Program (or the CHEPD 1+2+1 Program) Recruitment Plan and sends  to Chinese universities
From mid November to mid December, CCIEE will start recruitment explanation meetings with participating Chinese universities
Admissions:
March 15:  CCIEE receives students’ applications from Chinese universities
March 25:  U.S. universities receive students’ application package from CCIEE
April 2:   U.S. universities notify CCIEE through e-mail about the names of students denied for admission
April 15:   U.S. universities send admission letters and DS-2019 Forms to CCIEE and university supporting financial letter
April 25:    CCIEE starts passport and visa orientation with Chinese universities
Graduation:
April 15:  Chinese universities send returned students’ final year transcripts to U.S. partner universities
May 25: Both Chinese and American universities send the final list of the graduates to CCIEE
Mid June:   U.S. representatives travel to China for student visa orientation
Third week of June: CHEPD 1+2+1 Program Annual Meeting and Graduation in China
Management:
September: U.S. Worker Bee Meeting will be held in Washington, DC. Meetings are for CHEPD 1+2+1 Program Coordinators and optional for senior administrators
October:     Chinese coordinators have working meeting in Beijing, China.
